Capacitance Trainer Model: UITM-011

Our company is engaged in manufacturing of Capacitance Trainer Model: UITM-011 that helps in understanding working of is the best trainer to demonstrate the use of capacitance as a transducer. The parallel plate capacitor is used as a displacement sensor, which measure the displacement and the other capacitance transducer is used for measurement of angular displacement.

 

The setup:

 

  • Two plates (A1), one fixed to the base and the other moving over the fixed plate parallel with a small gap between the two

  • The over lapping of the plate will act as a capacitor with air as dielectric media

  • The parallel plate capacitor is used as a displacement sensor, which measure the displacement

  • The other capacitance transducer is used for measurement of angular displacement

  • Gang condenser is used to measure the angular displacement

  • Here the thin aluminum plates are fixed to one pole between these plate thin aluminum plates of same dimension overlap as the other pole on which the plates are mounted. The front panel of the instrument is designed in such a way that the schematic circuit diagram of the

  • capacitance indicator is shown

  • All test points are brought outside to enable the student to understand the working of the instrument properly

  • The system is self-explanatory and all necessary accessories will be supplied along with the kit

Control Valve trainer comprises of globe type control valve (½”) with diaphragm type Pneumatic actuator. The control valve is of linear / Equal% type. The setup comprises of water pump with necessary flexible piping, Water tank, I to P converter, Air regulator fitted on a table top powder coated metal frame.

Digital 4 – 20mA variable current source is provided to control the I/P converter. Rota meter is provided to measure the flow rate at which changes as per the valve opening. Detail Manual will be provided to conduct experiment.

Current to Pressure Trainer setup comprises of a I to P converter fitted on a base. Two pressure gauges are fitted one at the input side and the other at the output of the I to P converter. A current source with digital display is provided to excite the I to P converter. A constant air supply should be provided to the system at 20 PSI pressure from a standard compressor.

Unitech’s Temperature Control Loop Setup is basically a PC based PID controller setup used for closed loop and open loop analysis of temperature process system. The setup comprises of RTD temperature Sensor. The water flows through the Rota meter and Process tank to which a heating coil is fitted. The heater is controlled by a Thirstier drive. The Thirstier drive is connected to PID controller. The manual control valve can control the water flow. The system is mounted on a tabletop model with all necessary Piping. Water at approx. 100 LPH has to be supplied to a system externally. The electronic panel comprises of ADC/DAC card with RS-232 interfaces.

Software is provided for experimentation, Control action like PD, PI, PID can be conducted. Online data acquisition, trend plot are the salient feature of the system.
